I was in Target with my grown daughters and my young grandchildren. We were looking at tons of toys and it was somewhat overwhelming to me. My grandchildren started dong their gymnastics moves and then a girl that they had become friends with in the store said come be in our competition or show so they did and we watched which was also kind of overwhelming to me. Afterwards we left to go to my childhood home and my grandchildren weren’t part of this but I think my daughters were. We had ordered fruit but it the fruit that was delivered wasn’t right so I was going to exchange the fruit at the owners house. It was late in the day and I could see them inside but they didn’t want to come to the door. After the third time of knocking they came and it was a lot of trouble for them but they exchanged it. They felt sorry for me because the people knew my father was mentally ill and the woman hugged me. I thanked them and she said I could help them by donating to this woman’s political campaign. I was slow doing it though and I felt bad but then she lost by so much that it didn’t matter. The fruit people asked if I had seen the village that the millionaire had built that were just toys. I said I didn’t but on the way back we did see it and I was amazed. It was a whole little village that was almost as big as a real town but all the houses were just a bit smaller. Then we got to my childhood home and as I had been afraid of my father (who is dead in real life) was in a manic state pulling everything out from all the closets and under the beds and when I asked what he was doing he said I’m cleaning this place up. I was very worried for my mother (who is also dead in real life) coming back from a trip to my father in this mental state.
Dreams often serve as mirrors reflecting our subconscious thoughts, past experiences, emotions, and current life situations. Let's break down the elements of your dream and interpret their potential meanings:

Gymnastics and Competition:
Returning to Childhood Home Without Grandchildren:
Encounter with the Fruit People:
The Toy Village:
Interaction with Your Deceased Father:
In summary, your dream weaves together elements from your past, present concerns about family dynamics, and unresolved feelings about your parents, particularly the challenges related to mental illness and familial roles. The sense of being overwhelmed suggests a desire for balance and resolution. Exploring these emotions in waking life, perhaps through conversation or self-reflection, might provide more clarity or peace.
